School Board Campaign
Hello, I'm Ernest Swierk, and I'm running for the Lemont High School Board.
As a small business owner and immigrant here in Lemont, I understand the value of a strong education. I am deeply invested in our community and a proud parent of two high school students.
Every student deserves the best education to succeed—whether entering the workforce, pursuing trades, joining military service, or attending college. High school should equip students with essential skills, allow them to explore their interests, and prepare them for future careers and adulthood.
Critical thinking, time management, collaboration, and a strong commitment to education are crucial in preparing our LHS students for the next stage of their lives. My goal is to help students become lifelong learners.
While there are educational challenges—such as improving test scores—I welcome the opportunity to work with fellow board members to find solutions to these ongoing issues. There is a solution, and together with the community of stakeholders, we can address these challenges.
As a school board member, my priorities will be:
Preparing Students for Life After High School – Our students need critical thinking skills and the motivation to continue learning throughout their lives.
Creating a Supportive Environment – I will ensure that all students have the opportunity to grow, explore their interests, and fully utilize the resources at Lemont High School.
Protecting Property Values – Strong schools help build a strong community. I will advocate for intelligent decision-making and responsible spending to maintain our excellent schools and protect property values.
I am committed to excellence in education and public transparency and always put students' education first.
Lemont is my home, and I want to ensure our children have the best opportunities for success. With Election Day approaching, let's work together to strengthen our schools and better prepare our students for the future.
About Me

My journey began when I arrived in the United States at 16, armed with nothing but determination and a dream. I worked multiple jobs — cleaning offices at night and doing construction during the day — to pay my way through college while building my entrepreneurial vision. By 19, I had launched my first construction business, marking the beginning of a path toward multiple successful ventures.
Today, after nearly three decades, I've transformed Rainbow Property Maintenance into a Midwest leader and established Prominent Asset Management as a force in real estate. As CVO and Co-Founder of Behavio, I'm pioneering AI-driven solutions that are reshaping industries. But beyond business success, my true passion lies in helping others achieve their dreams.
My leadership extends to mentoring future leaders at One Million Degrees and Harper College, bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world success. Through my work at EO Chicago as a Board Member, I strengthen entrepreneurial networks and foster innovation. I firmly believe in constant growth — it's not about having a smooth road, but about how badly you want to reach your goals and what you're willing to learn along the way.
